Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) released a new version of its Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad streaming app today. The new updated app, version 1.3.3, now allows for multitasking on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and the third-generation iPod touch (32GB and 64GB models from late 2009) running iOS4. Other new features include reduced buffering times while using cellular data networks and the ability to organize the favorite channel list to the order preference of the user.
The new updated app is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, and requires iOS 3.0 or later. The new application is free to download and is available now at the Apple iTunes App Store.
