Sirius XM Radio’s (SIRI) CEO Mel Karmazin announced today at the Liberty Media Corporation 2010 Investor/Analyst Meeting in New York City that the Satellite Radio provider now expects to have ~20.1 million subscribers by year-end 2010. This would represent an all-time high for the company.
Last May 17th, Sirius XM raised its full-year 2010 net subscriber addition forecast to over 750,000 from the over 500,000 that had previously been forecast. Sirius XM raised its full-year 2010 net subscriber addition guidance again on July 7th to ~1.1 million. Todays announcement that Sirius XM is now expecting a full-year 2010 subscriber total of ~20.1 million raises their 2010 net subscriber addition forecast to ~1.3 million.

Does 20.1 estimate Mel gave seem rather low(or underpromising as Mel seems to always do)
If we added 300-400k new net subs this quarter(just a guess) wouldnt we be at 20 million already?(forgot 2nd q ending number)
