Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) announced this morning that Live from UCB Theatre, an exclusive weekly show featuring sketch comedy, stand up and improv performances recorded live at the UCB Theatre, is coming to their Raw Dog Comedy channel (Sirius and XM channel 99) beginning this weekend.
Each week Sirius XM listeners will hear a different comedy show performed from the stage of the UCB Theatre. This new, exclusive series will launch with the award-winning variety show ‘Totally J/K’, hosted by Joe Mande and Noah Garfinkel. ‘Totally J/K’ will feature guest appearances from some of the best stand-up comedians in New York City , including Julian McCullough and Kurt Braunohler.
The UCB Theatre has been the go-to place for innovative comedy in New York and Los Angeles for years, and we are thrilled that it will be part of our wide-ranging comedy lineup. The series will also include a special broadcast of “The Roast of Justin Bieber ,” featuring UCB founding member Matt Besser, Chelsea Lately’s Guy Branum and Ali Waller; “Waiting for Obama: A Night at the Hall of Presidents”, the one-act play exploring the legacy of American presidents; and “Tournament of Nerds”, a heated debate between comedians and nerds about comic books, Sci-Fi , horror and fantasy characters, featuring guest judges Rich Sommer of Mad Men and Ben Garant of Reno 911.

The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre is bi-coastal, currently with two locations — one in New York City (at 307 West 26th Street ) and another in Los Angeles (located at 5919 Franklin Avenue ), with plans to open another soon in downtown Manhattan.
Sirius XM’s Raw Dog Comedy channel features uncensored comedy from the edge: classic comedy, the hottest new stand-ups and original shows. The channel features shows hosted by comedian Jim Breuer , the irreverent music host and musician Mojo Nixon, alternative comedy “championer” Mark Says Hi!, live morning host Sonny Fox, and the smart and edgy Filip and Fredrik.
Live from UCB Theatre launches this Saturday, June 11th at 11:00 pm ET and will continue to air weekly every Saturday night at 11:00 pm ET Special encores will air every Monday at 7:00 pm ET.
