Sirius XM Radios’s Electric Area channel will again be presenting exclusive broadcasts of performances by many of the biggest DJs in dance music live from one of the year’s biggest electronic dance music events — the Electric Daisy Carnival.
Listeners will hear live DJ sets from many of the stages from artists including Afrojack, Avicii, Paul Oakenfold, Rusko, Steve Aoki, Benny Benassi, Nervo, Ferry Corsten, Laidback Luke, Martin Solveig, Crystal Method, Markus Schulz, Robbie Rivera, Roger Sanchez, Sander van Doorn, Cosmic Gate, Umek, Alesso and Wippenberg.
Electric Area will be broadcasting the 2011 Electric Daisy Carnival live from Las Vegas’ Motor Speedway from this Friday, June 24th through Sunday, June 26th. The live coverage will run from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am ET each day on Electric Area (Sirius and XM channel 52).
In anticipation of this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival, Sirius XM’s Electric Area channel has launched Electric Daisy Radio, a weekly show featuring DJ sets from last year’s Electric Daisy Carnival, including DJs Chuckie, Afrojack and Fedde Le Grand. In addition, Sirius XM Radio will also be launching exclusive radio shows created and performed by DJs/music producers Diplo and Skrillex.
Sirius XM’s Electric Area channel plays electronic dance music, house, trance, electro, progressive, along with the biggest DJs in the world. Listeners will hear Tiesto, Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, Sander Van Doorn, Avicii/Tim Berg, Above & Beyond, Eric Prydz, Swedish House Mafia, Wolfgang Gartner and Deadmau5.
