Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) has announced that it will launch a live, interactive six-week radio series with Media Matters for America, the Internet-based, politically progressive research and information center.
Launching on September 24th, Media Matters Radio will air live on Saturdays from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm ET and replay Sundays from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm ET. The series will run on Sirius XM Left (Sirius and XM channel 127). Ari Rabin-Havt, Executive Vice President of Media Matters, and Bradley Herring, Executive Producer for the site, will co-host, systematically analyzing a cross section of print, broadcast, cable, radio, and Internet media outlets for conservative misinformation and alerting listeners to take action.
Launched in May 2004, Media Matters is a progressive research and information center dedicated to monitoring, analyzing and correcting conservative misinformation in the media.
SiriusXM Left features the progressive voices of hosts including Alex Bennett, Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, Thom Hartmann, Mark Thompson and many more.
