Sirius XM Radio’s (NASDAQ:SIRI) newly launched Cristina Radio (Channel 146) will air an exclusive interview with Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney this Friday, January 27th at 4:00 pm Eastern on From Washington al Mundo hosted by Mauricio Claver-Carone. This exclusive interview on foreign policy was granted during the Governor’s stop in the pivotal primary state of Florida.
As part of National Latino Broadcasting’s initiative to bring Satellite Radio listeners relevant information regarding issues and government policies that affect Hispanics, this exclusive interview will focus on Governor Romney’s foreign policy platform, specifically regarding his position on Latin American affairs. Cristina Radio’s From Washington al Mundo, which features interviews with national and international leaders, policy experts and opinion-makers, is hosted by Mauricio Claver-Carone, a Capitol Hill insider and one of the country’s most respected foreign policy commentators.
Recently, National Latino Broadcasting (NLB) announced the launch on new programming on Sirius XM’s Cristina Radio and En Vivo channels which examines the current political landscape. NLB says that it will be providing extensive and insightful coverage of the 2012 elections from Sirius XM’s Washington DC studios, as well as from its Miami, Florida headquarters.
SiriusXM’s Cristina Radio, the channel built around media mogul and talk show icon Cristina Saralegui, recently launched on January 12th, 2012. Making her Satellite Radio debut, Saralegui signed an exclusive radio contract with NLB in May of last year. SiriusXM’s En Vivo (channel 147), NLB’s Hispanic music channel which features Latin Grammy related content, launched alongside Cristina Radio on January 12th.
National Latino Broadcasting (NLB) was selected by Sirius XM Radio last April to lease two channels on both the Sirius and XM platforms.
