Soundgarden fans rejoice! Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) announced this morning that the Grammy Award-winning band Soundgarden will be performing at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York City as part of another installment of Sirius XM Radio’s Town Hall series. SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Soundgarden will feature an exclusive Q&A session with all four band members and an intimate group of Sirius XM listeners. Sirius XM’s exclusive Town Hall with Soundgarden will be hosted by Foo Fighters’ drummer Taylor Hawkins.

SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Soundgarden will feature the legendary band performing songs from King Animal – their highly anticipated first new album release in over 15 years!  The band will field questions from the studio audience about their already critically-acclaimed new album release King Animal and their extensive career. Soundgarden’s King Animal is scheduled to hit the streets on November 13th.

SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Soundgarden will air on Sirius XM’s Pearl Jam Radio (Sirius Radio and XM Radio channel 22) on Friday, November 16th at 6:00 pm ET.

Following the broadcast SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Soundgarden will be made available on SiriusXM On Demand for subscribers listening via SiriusXM Internet Radio online, as well as via the SiriusXM Internet Radio App for smartphones and other mobile devices.

The special Town Hall event with Soundgarden is part of SiriusXM’s Town Hall series, which brings iconic musicians together with Sirius XM listeners in intimate gatherings. Previous SiriusXM Town Hall specials have featured Roger Waters, Gregg Allman, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr, Taylor Swift, Ziggy Marley, Coldplay, Linkin Park, the surviving members of Nirvana and Crosby, Stills and Nash.

Sirius XM’s Pearl Jam Radio channel features archival concerts from Pearl Jam’s celebrated career, along with unreleased material from the band’s personal music library and side projects.
