Sirius XM Radio Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI), the only satellite radio operator in the United States, will launch an exclusive channel later this month devoted to the legendary rock band Bon Jovi. Sirius XM will launch ‘Bon Jovi Radio’ on Friday, March 22nd at 6:00 pm ET on both Sirius Radio and XM Radio.
Sirius XM’s ‘Bon Jovi Radio’ will feature performances spanning the band’s entire career, from their very first song “Runaway,” all the way to the band’s brand new album release What About Now, which hits the street a week from today on Tuesday, March 12th. This exclusive, limited-run SiriusXM channel will also feature live recordings, rarities, as well as selections from the band member’s solo work.
In addition to being made available on its satellite radio platform, Sirius XM will also make ‘Bon Jovi Radio’ available to its subscribers who choose to listen online via SiriusXM.com or via the SiriusXM Internet Radio App for smartphones and mobile devices on the SiriusXM Limited Engagements 2 channel.
For Bon Jovi fans who want even more, Sirius XM has got you covered! Sirius XM Radio will premier an exclusive Town Hall with Jon Bon Jovi, which will be moderated by Savannah Guthrie, on Thursday, March 7th at 8:00 pm ET on SiriusXM’s The Pulse (Sirius and XM channel 10). ‘SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Jon Bon Jovi’ will feature the one and only Jon Bon Jovi answering questions from an intimate studio audience on a wide range of topics, including Bon Jovi’s the band’s new album What About Now, and tour, Because We Can – The Tour. Jon Bon Jovi will also be discussing his philanthropic endeavors and his thoughts on the future of the Jersey Shore.
‘SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Jon Bon Jovi’ is yet another installment in Sirius XM Radio’s successful Town Hall series, which brings iconic musicians, entertainers and figures together with SiriusXM listeners in an intimate setting. Previous Sirius XM Radio Town Hall events have featured Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Gregg Allman, Roger Waters, Ringo Starr, Willie Nelson, Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, Ziggy Marley, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Aerosmith, Linkin Park, Coldplay and the surviving members of Nirvana.
